In the House Republicans are trying to get a vote on a bill that says that if a baby is born alive they should be given medical care.
Democrats have blocked that vote 9 times so far saying that it is anti-science and anti-abortion.
They have yet to explain how saying that any law involving a born alive child whose umbilical cord has been cut has anything to do with abortion.
